About SDC – An ISO 20000 & 27001 Certified Data Center

1. State Data Centre (SDC) has been setup at SAS Nagar (Mohali) in the office of Directorate of Governance Reforms to act as central repository of applications & database of various e-Governance projects.
2. M/s Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) is the Data Centre Operator (DCO) since 03.05.2024 for operations and maintenance of PSDC.
3. The scope of the Project included Design, Build, Operation, Maintenance and Management of State Data Centre.
4. PSDC offers Shared Services (Computing and storage services), Co-location Services (Infrastructure provided by Client department) and Managed Services (Infrastructure purchased by DGR on behalf of Client department).
5. Websites / applications of various organizations of Government of Punjab are hosted on the SDC.
6. The SLAs (Service Level Agreement) maintained by DCO can be viewed here.
7. Organizations of Government of Punjab can avail hosting services by dropping an email to the SDC helpdesk: helpdesk.psdc@punjab.gov.in
8. Co-location services are no longer provided. Only compute (VMs – Virtual Machines) and storage resources shall be provided on chargeable basis. The SDC  services rate card can be viewed here.
